This could have been 80 minutes and been 10 times better.Richard of DMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15009346741909948722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2592266676978922940.post-24072828526056210002012-07-10T02:48:22.928-04:002012-07-10T02:48:22.928-04:00For what it's worth, it's not necessarily ...For what it's worth, it's not necessarily in the vein of some of the more modern Japanese splatter movies in terms of absurdity. It's your typical comedic zombie film, but the characters and the style of filmmaking and the aesthetic are over the top. It does drag at times during the second and third act though, but it really picks up towards the end. It's fun but you won't be missing out on some amazing movie if you decide to skip it, especially if you don't like crazy Japanese movies. The Japa...I'd been slow getting around to this. The Japanese "over the top" horror style wears pretty thin pretty quickly for me. This helped confirm some of my suspicions. Looks fun but near 100 minutes just sounds too long to sustain that sort of mood.Codyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16811605585006167157noreply@blogger.com
