13 Questions: Jill Sixx Gevargizian

Jill Sixx Gevargizian is a horror filmmaker to keep an eye on. Her debut short, CALL GIRL, is currently making the rounds on the festival circuit and boasts a cast that includes Tristan Risk of AMERICAN MARY and my pal Laurence R. Harvey of the second and third installments of the HUMAN CENTIPEDE trilogy. If she was able to score names like that for a short film, imagine what her feature-length is gonna be like! 1. Who are you and where are you from?
I am Jill Sixx Gevargizian and I am from Kansas City, Missouri, USA!

2. Where might people know you from?
I just directed my first film, CALL GiRL, starring Laurence R. Harvey (THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE 2&3) and Tristan Risk (AMERICAN MARY). Also, I run screening series for independent horror here in KC called Slaughter Movie House. We just had our two year anniversary! 

3. When it comes to what you do, who are your major influences?
Timo Tjahjanto (KILLERS, VHS 2, ABCs of DEATH), Adam Wingard (YOU'RE NEXT), Jerry Pyle (BURN, SERVICE), Adrian Garcia Bogliano (HERE COMES THE DEVIL), the Soska sisters (AMERICAN MARY), Tom Six (HUMAN CENTIPEDE franchise)… I could go on and on.
